Grace Otieno is the Communication Officer for the Association of Women in Energy and Extractives in Kenya. She is responsible for developing and distributing content to promote the Association's brand, projects and programs. She is also responsible for the Association’s digital media presence (Social Media). Grace is passionate about helping organizations, companies and individuals realize that they can gain more and create impact through the use of Social Media and implement social media initiatives that create long lasting effects. Grace is also passionate about story-telling and documenting real life stories of women (Artisanal and Small Scale Miners) as part of creating social impact and raising awareness on key issues affecting women. Grace is a member of the Association for Women in Energy and Extractives in Kenya (AWEIK) and Women in Mining UK (WIM-UK).
