Susan Munyori is internationally skilled in Country value expert with over 20 years of experience leading the capacity development of people and Small & Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). She has made significant contributions to the various multi-national organisations she has worked for in both the Upstream and Downstream sectors of the hydrocarbon life cycle value chain. She has previously held the positions of Talent and Learning adviser for Shell Oil Products Africa, Capacity Building Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa at African Management Services Company (AMSCO).
Ms Munyori was instrumental in establishing Local Content policies in Tullow Kenya where she formerly worked as the Local Content Manager while consolidating her expertise in Skills and Business Development. She is particularly passionate in her quest to advance the participation of Kenyans in the nascent Oil and Gas industry.
Susan holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and is a certified Career Coach. She currently serves as a Board member at the Association of Women in Extractives and Energy in Kenya (AWEIK) representing Oil and Gas and is a Lead in the Extractives sub-committee of the Local Content Working Group, Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA).
